Pounds for Points Show Jumping (6 of 8) – 12.4.17

A bit chilly and windy at Laurel View this evening, but the jumpers and their supporters were all given a warm welcome to the 6th competition of the Spring Pounds for Points Show Jumping League. Some competitors rode their best rounds in the league so far, with grins a mile wide, while on the other side of the scale a couple experienced some rather abrupt unscheduled dismounts, but hopefully they will all be back in the jumping arena again soon.

The winners on top form on the 12th April were:-

45cm –1^st Rab, Frances McLaughlin; 2^nd Bruno, Finn Doherty; 3^rd Craigstown Saileach, Louise Wylie; 4^th Roly, Ashley Wray.

55cm –1^st William, Grace Handcock; 2^nd Delilah, Karen Brown.

60cm – 1^st Beechmount Reeba, Meaghann Crawford; 2^nd Silver, Amy-Lee Hanvey; 3^rd Trooper, Emma Wallace.

70cm – 1^st Cindy, Zara Davis; 2^nd Dreamer, Rhona Wilkinson; 3^rd Beechmount Reeba, Meaghann Crawford.

80cm – 1^st Pippa, Cora McNulty.

90cm – 1^st Billy, Rebecca McWhinney.
