Working Equitation Training Show (2 of 3)

Once more Laurel View hosted a welcoming Working Equitation day on Sunday 19th April.

Huge thanks to everyone who came along to give it a go and to the helpers who assisted. It is lovely to see everyone coming together to encourage each other in this fairly new discipline to our province. Jennifer Marshall was the judge for the competition again, with Diane Sefton as the scribe assisting her. Laurel Faloona had set up the course and arena for the day, with Una Clancy guiding competitors and taking the course walk. A number of other volunteers who were unable to participate on this occasion assisted with running the training show. Again we had a number of combinations trying Working Equitation Ease of Handling and dressage for the first time which is great to see. All the results of the various phases are listed below for everyone to peruse. Well done everyone. We hope that you can all make it back for the next Working Equitation training show on Sunday 10th May. Once again open to everyone who would like to learn more while giving it a go. Just send through any entries for all three phases or any individual phases, to laurelview01@btinternet.com preferably by noon on Thursday 7th May. All those who have given it a go will vouch for how much fun the discipline is and how worthwhile it is for the horse and rider combination.
