Summer Dressage League (2 of 4) & Marie Curie Charity Show – 20.7.25
Wow, what a marvellous day of dressage competition for Marie Curie!
I haven’t had a chance to count the charity collection just yet (I will let you know as soon as I have), but I wanted to get the results up, as I know folk will be waiting to see how they got on.
A huge thank you to absolutely everyone who came along to support the event, we were delighted with the super list of entries 🙂
I’m sure all the winners would like to join with us in thanking our fabulous sponsors Doagh Equestrian, Equi-Tog and KR Equine Veterinary Services, who apart from being generous sponsors of this Charity Show, are also all a great help to us year round for their respective equestrian goods and supplies, photography skills and veterinary attention.
Leah Knight of Danescroft Equestrian very kindly added to the sponsored prizes today by donating schooling vouchers for their excellent equestrian facilities. These were awarded to our top scoring under 18 riders in the biggest classes, I know they are already plotting their daytrips to Danescroft 🙂
Cheers to our wonderful judges Coreen Abernethy and Jennifer Marshall, who were ably assisted by scribes Julie Dauncey-Stuart, Holly Hanvey and Diane Sefton. Thank you ladies for your time and expertise. We are glad that after today you can add new dressage judging experience to your repertoire, thanks to the dogs, goats and musical dressage.

Don’t forget this Charity competition also doubled up as the 2nd of the 4 Summer League competitions for all those in league classes 1 – 6, so if you compete again on the same horse or pony in the same class on August 24th and September 7th, you would qualify for the league and be in the running for the league class prizes. Entries for the 24th August are already open, so just email any entries through to laurelview01@btinternet.com before noon on Thursday 21st.
