Summer Dressage League (1 of 4) – 25.5.25
Well that has got the Summer Dressage League at Laurel View off to a great start. A fab bunch of folk came along to compete. Some taking their first tentative steps in the competitive arena, a few on their first outing in a long time, some professional participants and some nervous novices, but they all had one thing in common they got in between the white boards to give it their best shot in front of our lovely judges Ivor Harper-Hewitt and Jennifer Marshall and their attentive scribes Stephen and Mark. Cheers everyone for supporting this competition and thanks to everyone involved in putting on the show.
Originally 22nd June was the next date on the league schedule, until we discovered an unfortunate clash of dates with both Pony and Riding Club Dressage competitions, so we have opted to occupy ourselves alternatively on that day and the league will continue with the Charity Show for Marie Curie on Sunday 20th July. The Charity Show will be a league leg with all 6 regular classes, but keep an eye out for our special Charity Show Schedule, with some extra classes to entice folk to part with their money for this worthy cause.
