Show Jumping League (1 of 12)
It’s back! Wednesday evening show jumping at Laurel View time has absolutely flown by and now we’re round to the start of another 12 weeks Pounds for Points League.
Kick off still 6pm with 45cm, then the 55cm class to give green horses and riders a little bit more scope to build on throughout the league, before going up to the 60cm with spreads. After 60cm, we will put the fences up in 10cm increments to a metre if competitors are feeling fit for it and if we have time and energy left 🙂
Regular, steady performance is probably the secret to the Pounds for Points show jumping league, with points being accumulated for each clear round, with these points converting to pounds to the qualifying league winners on 20th December. To qualify just compete over the same height, in the same horse/rider combo for at least 5 league competitions before the league final.
