Outdoor Derby League (4 of 4) – 14.9.14
Only 4 legs to the Outdoor Derby League, having had to cancel our August competition due to horrific weather. Ironically the fourth and final competition of the league was run on the all weather surface as the ground conditions had went too far the other way. Ground conditions won’t be a problem at the Indoor Derby League which gets underway on Sunday 5th October. Big thumbs up to all the derby competitors who have came along to tackle the courses throughout the league and also to the Laurel View team who put it all together and keep things moving on the derby days.
The results from the competition on the day read as follows: –
60cms – 1st Kerry, Michelle Hagan; 2nd Holly, Lucy Stewart; 3rd Chief, Cora McNulty; 4th Lucy Lou, Alex Murphy; 5th Addy, Sophie McGuckin; 6th Blue Wicked, Sasha Wilson.
70cms – 1st The Castletown Lad, Miriam Wright; 2nd Willow, Simone Leathem; 3rd Daisy, Julie Coulter; 4th Chance, Joel Clements.
85cms – 1st Willow, Simone Leathem.
1m – No entries forward.
This resulted in the following league results with the top 3 people in each league class going home with quite a nice little cash prize in their pocket 🙂
