Outdoor Derby League (1 of 5) – 11.5.14
Well its May so time to take our popular Derby League outside, onto grass when we can manage it, but if conditions underfoot are less than perfect we will move to Plan B, utilising our large all weather arena. The first competition in this league is set for Sunday 11th May, with a 12.30pm start time. Competitors over the 60cm fences will get the first chance at the course. Following them in ascending order as is the custom, will be the 70cm, 85cm and finally the metre class competitors. Remember £2 from every entry paid, goes into the prize fund for that class at the league final. To qualify to compete for the class cash stash at the final, folk need to have competed in the same horse/rider combo over the same height at least twice during the league before the final itself.
