Almost 250 delegates are expected for the RDA Conference tomorrow (21st March) 26 of the 28 Northern Ireland RDA groups will be represented. At the hotel they can look forward to listening to speakers – Ed Bracher, RDA Chief Executive, to bring all up to speed with developments and plans for the Organisation. Then Alison Mastin Moore who has been involved with training RDA Riders, instructors and judges over many years is going to talk about “the happy athlete”. Joseph Murphy is going to share some of his Olympic memories from London 2012 where he competed as a member of the Irish Three-Day-Event team.

Then the conference moves to Laurel View to watch East Antrim RDA who have been practising their Musical Ride for many weeks, all the riders are very excited to be performing, as is Bobby McAllister from Newtownards RDA. Everyone is looking forward to the vaulting display from Berwickshire RDA Group in Scotland- NI don’t have any vaulting groups at the moment so hopefully this will inspire some to “have a go”!
