NI Youth Dressage (cancelled)
NIYD is a training scheme for riders aged 8 – 25
Members of NIYD meet once a month at either Omagh RDA Centre, Danescroft Equestrian Centre Lisburn and Laurelview Equestrian Centre, Antrim with well qualified and experienced dressage coaches to educate and improve our youth riders. The scheme started this year on October 15th (Danescroft) and 31st (Ecclesville). Every fourth month a dressage test will be included with % scores rewarded by certificates.
Rides of 45 minutes will be in groups of three at a similar standard. Sometimes we have groups of four when numbers are limited.
Riders must all be off the leading rein and confident to ride independently, but need not be experienced beyond walk and trot. If you wish to learn more about the scheme please fill in the ‘interest’ form and e mail it to NIYD co-ordinator alisonmastin@yahoo.co.uk
