Working Equitation Training Show (3 of 3)
Originally planned for the 10th May, but for a number of reasons it was decided best to postpone this final of a trio of Working Equitation Training shows, so today is the new day, Saturday 23rd May.
We will be starting with the Level 1 dressage at 2pm, all things being well and will progress through Level 2 & 3 dressage, before those competing in all 3 phases head out for the Ease of Handling and Speed Tests.
This is the third opportunity this Spring to give Working Equitation a go in an encouraging and supportive environment. Running as a training show once again to allow everyone to get the hang of it all, and hopefully help the discipline grow.
There are three elements involved in the show, but participants can opt for 1 or 2 phases if they don’t want to start with all 3. Rosettes for the winners in each phase. 🙂
This discipline suits any size or breed of horse and pony, so we would like to encourage anyone interested to have a look to see what is all about.
The fees are as follows £35 entry fee for all 3 phases; £25 for Ease of Handling & Speed Test and then £15 if you wish to do any single element, pre entry is always required so we can pop you on the running order.
Don’t forget you can have your dressage test read if you are worried about remembering it.
Speed can be at the same pace as the Ease of Handling, slow and steady less faults.
Level 1 – Walk Trot
Level 2 – Walk Trot Canter (trot changes)
Level 3 – Walk Trot Canter Laterals
Level 2 – Walk Trot Canter (trot changes)
Level 3 – Walk Trot Canter Laterals
Rosettes awarded for each phase and combined placings.
Today is the final of our trio of training shows, so those that have competed twice in a Level in the same combo, doing all 3 phases are up for league places. Who will come out on top?
