Working Equitation Training Show (1 of 3)

Entries at Laurel Views first Working Equitation Training Show of 2026 were rather low, but those that were able to make it had a very worthwhile Working Equitation training day. Jennifer Marshall kindly agreed to judge at the training show once again. She took time with each rider after their dressage element, to go over their scoresheet and offer constructive feedback, to encourage and assist each rider. The combos also benefited from a coursewalk around the Ease of Handling obstacles, this proved reassuring and helped the riders and their steeds tackle the various obstacles, even if this was the first time they had seen the tasks to be tackled. For a number this was their first time competing in Working Equitation and for one their very first time seeing the Ease of Handling obstacles. They all did extremely well and it all goes to show that anyone interested in this discipline, should just come along and give it a go. So before you read through the results below, why not note the next training show date into your calendar – Sunday 19th April.
