Winter Dressage League (4 of 6) – 14.1.24

Threats of snow and frost didn’t come to fruition thankfully, so the 4th leg of the Laurel View Winter Dressage League ran unhindered on a brisk January day. Winter bugs caused a few withdrawals and a horse or two ended up on the injury bench before show day, but we still had a good turnout of eager competitors.

Judges Coreen Abernethy and Ivor Harper gave their time and expertise to judge the classes, ably assisted by scribes Jenny & Stephen, for this we are very grateful.

Thanks to all the Laurel View team responsible for preparing for and running the event, we really appreciate you.

Lovely to see all the Pony Club riders competing to earn their Spring Festival Qualification, don’t forget we also are running Pony Club Qualifiers at our February and March competitions, so if you haven’t already qualified, or even to get some more practice of PC70 & PC80 before the Festival, just send your entries through by noon on the Thursday preceding the competition.

So well done to all the worthy winners at our January competition, but also to every single competitor for coming along and giving it their best efforts.
